Specific Skills
Load and unload goods, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle,
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Pay and receive
payments for goods, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Job Duties:
-Loading and unloading cargo.
-Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning around several provinces or cities.
-Prepare log-book of the trips completed and maintaining the accuracy of records to be in compliance with Transportation Safety Board.
-Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
-Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
-Record amount and type of cargo being delivered and also keep proof of delivery documents.
