SKILLS and KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year hands-on experience in Elderly care Or Classroom Training for 6 months
- Highly skilled in providing Elderly care in accordance to the employer’s protocols
- Preferably but not mandatory CPR and first aid Certified
- Able to demonstrate time management skills, sanitation awareness, emergency responding, safe patient handling, agile and empathetic
Job Description
- Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding
- Provide care and companionship during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption
- May perform routine health-related duties and assisting in the administration of medications
- Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulance, bathing, personal hygiene and dressing and undressing
- May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds
- Perform housekeeping and other home management duties under general direction of employer
