POSITION TITLE: Auto Glass Installer

COMPANY NAME: ALLSET Auto Glass Ltd.

WORK LOCATION ADDRESS:  3810 Main St., Vancouver, BC, V5V 3N9

WORK LOCATION: Urban Location

WORK SETTING: Auto-Shop

VACANCIES: 1

START DATE: As soon as possible

TYPE OF POSITION: Full-time, Permanent

WAGES: $26.00 per hour

HOURS PER DAY: 6-7

HOURS PER WEEK: 30-35

Valid driver's licence required with a good driving abstract

Specific Skills & Job Duties

- Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed,

- Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs,

- Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling

- Verify and check receiving parts and before installation

- Install replacement glass in vehicles after removing damaged parts

- Prepare and prime vehicle by removing debris from glass and window edges

- Inspect work to ensure the vehicle is delivered with a fit and finish equal or superior to the original factory fit and finish

- The job is physical and requires lifting up to 50 lbs with no help.

- To drive vehicles (including auto / manual) in and out of the shop; Ability to drive a standard/manual transmission.

- To maintain cleanliness of the shop and tools that have been used

- The applicant must be able to multitask and prioritize. Following through with a variety of tasks and issues are critical for this position.
