Location: 1750 Steels Ave E, Brampton, ON , L6T 1A4
Title of Position: Truck Driver (NOC 7511)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Terms of Employment:
Full Time: 40 hours/week
Wage: $26.00/hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities as Long Haul Truck Driver will be as follows:
- Document and directly report all safety related equipment defects to the company.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive
- maintenance
- Maintain logbook for driving and rest periods
- Drive AZ tractor trailer and deliver freight safely to various customer locations in Canada
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (Size, Weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
- Inspect trucks and record issues.
Education: AZ licence is must
Experience: No experience required, previous experience will be an asset.
