Job Title                    :   Telecommunication Equipment Technician

NOC Code                  :   NOC 7246.

Positions Available   :   6

Term                          :   Permanent, Full Time.

Salary                        :   $32.50/hour.

Start Date                  :   As Soon As Possible.

Education                  :    High School.

Language                   :   English.

Experience:    

1 to 2 years of installation and repairing of equipment.

Duties: 

• Install, remove and maintain various telecommunications equipment and related systems
• Inspect and test operation of telecommunications equipment
• Determine the nature, cause and locate the equipment fault.
• Repair or replace defective and damaged wires and associated telecommunication equipment.
• May assist repair personnel to test lines, circuits and systems, isolate and clear cable faults and verify records.
• Report completed and ongoing tasks to Supervisor on daily basis.
