Duties:
- Construct maintain and repair structures made of wood, light weight steel and other materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets and other fixtures as required.
- Prepare drawings and layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Supervise construction workers.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Repair and maintain wooden structures in industrial plants and mills.
- Install trim items such as doors, stairs and hardware.
