Hours:                                                   40/wk

Salary:                                                   $19.75/hr ($41,080 annually)

Overtime:                                           $29.625/hr (for over 8hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Observed Holidays:                        As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 holidays/yr

Benefits:                                             N/A

Medical:                                              Medical premiums payable by employee

Requirements:

  • No minimum education requirement
  • 1-2 years of experience on at least a supervisory level 
    OR
  • equivalent management experience in other retail will also be considered

 

Job Duties:

  • Adhere, and ensure employee adherence, to company standards and service levels in order to increase sales and minimize costs
  • Keep the Manager and Franchise President up-to-date and fully informed of any and all issues and take prompt corrective actions where necessary and/or if the situation permits, offer alternative suggestions as to the appropriate course of action
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance for food prep areas
  • Ensure safety and health compliance that is in alignment with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial/local laws and ordinances
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues and help them to develop into proficient workers by providing them with ongoing performance feedback
  • Ensure that recipes/product directions are being precisely followed – no exceptions
  • Manage staff by assigning shifts and duties in order to ensure that all shifts are properly staffed and that all standards and best practices are being efficiently executed
  • Oversee the organization and storage of inventory and consumables
  • Review expenditure requests against budgetary constraints and approve/deny accordingly
  • Perform conflict resolution actions as appropriate to the given issue (either staff or customer)
  • Perform administrative duties to ensure that all financials are completed accurately and on time
