Mann Machines and Hydraulics Ltd. located at 245 Advanced Blvd. Brampton, ONT-L6T 4J2, requires Senior Software Engineer cum Designer on Perm.FT Basis. More than 5 yrs Exp. with strong knowledge & background in System Design and Development, Informatica, SAS, Oracle, Business Analytical Skills. $60-70/hr depending upon Industry Exposure. - Lead and perform top-level architecture, software design, programming, development, integration, test, verification, life-cycle support, and documentation. Ability to work with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and mechanical, to ensure that the software will accomplish the design goals for a particular system.
- In-depth experience with technologies deployed in an Agile or Rapid Application development environment - J2EE, C++, DB2, Oracle, Change management processes and Embedded Software
- Interact with stakeholders for requirements elicitation; Able to interpret business requirements and programming specifications that solve business needs
- Research, evaluate & synthesize the complex information systems and in a manner that permits detailed analysis, understanding, and communication.
- Create the data, process and network models adhering to latest modeling standards (including UML and BPMN) for the deployed and new applications.
- Evaluate and enhance reliability, performance and security of data of developed systems. Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.
- Prepare, implement, and monitor a project plan which schedules the analysis, design and implementation of assigned projects. Support software development proposals and resource planning.
- Installation of complex software, integrate with 3rd party software/systems and provide training in operation of these computer-based systems
- Assist in design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems. Help write test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures.
- Remain current on the latest technologies and make recommendations for technology platform improvements
