Experience                  :    1 to 2 years

Employment Requirement: Crane Operator Certification, Air Brake Endorsement (Z)

Duties:

1. Operate cranes to lift, move, position scraped, or recyclable material and other heavy objects.
2. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, position, move or place equipment and materials.
3. Perform pre-operational inspection, calculate crane capacities to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
4. Operate overhead crane to lift, move, and place materials.
5. Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
6. Maintain visual and radio contact with ground operators.
7. Using lever and pedal controls efficiently.
8. Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.
9. Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.
