Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create new files, virtual file lists, and World ox identification numbers for each document and scan documents into WD and update company file lists
2. Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, such as deeds, wills, affidavits and briefs, from handwritten copy and dictation using computers
3. Maintain file binder and index
4. Maintain Confidentiality Agreements excel list
5. Create company shadow minute books
6. Update corporate company fact sheets
7. Periodically prepare files that will be going to storage and keep records of materials filed or removed by entering it in the Excel master storage list
8. Create boxes to be sent to Govt. legal offices and maintain storage file index for internal record.
9. Create binders for in house lawyers, including inserting tabs and putting labels on spine
10. Perform general office duties such as typing, photocopying and shredding confidential material
11. Place order of supplies for inter office requirements
12. Provide back-up reception support, when required and perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.
Employment requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a one- or two-year college
Or, other program for secretaries or legal secretaries is required.
Salary: $24.50/hour
